5 of our runners met the challenge: Lucie, Susan, Kathleen, Modupe and our newest runner April, who has only been running for 2 weeks. read more

New Training Sessions

With the dark winter months fast approaching, various people are looking for additional training sessions that are a little different from the evening runs around the roads of Leighton & Linslade. There is no change to Wednesday nights, but these should give a couple more options that may also fit into your diary and get you away from the street lamp blues of running up and down Bideford Green!

Saturday Hill Training – Tom May is going to lead a session in Stockgrove Park most weeks (It won't happen on race days) that will leave from the main car park at 8.30am. It will consist of a warm-up, a series of efforts up and down various hills in the park and a cool down. This is ideal strength training for all running, but in particular the cross-country season. Just turn up if you are interested. read more
