QuadKids

This is the scheme used to introduce younger age-groups of children into athletics. All participants have the opportunity to do a jump, a throw, a sprint and a longer run with the idea being that children are not pigeonholed into certain events a very young age. LBAC compete in Bedfordshire at U11 and U13 level.

2022 fixtures have not yet been finalised.

Local Track Open Meetings

In addition to the league fixtures and county championships, there are a number of local venues that hold open graded meetings where runners are welcome to compete.

Watford Harriers hold regular open meetings, every other Wednesday evening throughout the summer, the schedule of races can be found here.  These are usually very popular evenings with multiple races at each distance which cater for all standards, so they are ideal if you are looking to get a good time.

Other open meetings are held at Kettering, Oxford, Cambridge and various other venues.  A searchable database of these events can be found here.
