Individual Races – Seniors

Road Races 2024

The club road race championships work on the calendar year and we try to fit them in around all of the other club events, keep them local and spread them across the year. The races for 2024 are planned to be the following dates and races:

Friday 29th March – Maidenhead 10 Mile

Despite there being a lack of 10 mile races around, this one is fairly fast with a nice course. You may even spot an ex-PM on the route!

Sunday 12th May – Buckingham Half

A beautiful route around the North Bucks villages. Rolling hills aplenty but view galore!

Saturday 13th July – Aylesbury parkrun 5k

Aylesbury parkrun should have dried out by then, so we’re heading across to get some variety in our 5k parkrun.

Sunday 4th August – Bearbrook 10k

A club favourite as we head back to the Bearbrook 10k in 2024.

Saturday 26th October – Wolverton 5 Mile

Held at Willen Lake, this course offers PB potential for that rare 5 mile distance.

Marathon

We take the attitude that we can’t expect everyone to do the same marathon so any time that you run 26.2 in a race (on an accurately measured course) will count, so take your pick!

Track

The 1 mile Championships took place on Sunday 7 July 2024 at Stantonbury Track in MK

Friday 7th July – Beds AAA 10k (7 participants)
